CURRENT NEWS
6/17/03 - HEY I THINK EVERYONE IN THE WORLD SHOULD BUY OUR NEW CD, "WHERE IS MY BREAD?" CUZ ITS THE BEST DAMN CD EVER AND ALL THE COOL KIDS ARE LISTENING TO IT!!! JUST LOOK AT THE EXTREMELY SWIFTY COVER!!!

You can listen to a couple of the songs from the CD in our music section. Seriously though, buy our CD or we send the death-bots after you. It only costs 2 bucks, or for 5 bucks and it comes with a really cool case with pictures of our sexy selves inside. OH AND EVERY CD HAS UNIQUE ARTWORK, HAND DRAWN BY A MEMBER OF THE BAND!!! and to make the deal even sweeter, we made a really cool comic book that goes with the CD. ITS SO COOOOOOOOOL. NOTICE HOW MANY O's I PUT IN "COOL"....
In other news, D-Muni has officially signed on to drum for OPERATION DROPKICK on thier upcoming album, UNLESS. This news makes everyone get a boner because D-Muni is so cool. Recording should commence in the near future, seeing that pretty much all of the music is written. Jessie Barbour has also agreed to collaborate and add some of her spiffy-ness to the album with violin or piano or something neat-o like that.
6/9/03 - Ladies and Gentlemen, I sadly announce to you that a member of Operation Dropkick has died. Several days ago, Mr. Zach Chase, a beloved member of Operation Dropkick, was shot. He dove in front of his hero, Dave Grohl, and took a bullet in the chest that was intended for Mr. Grohl. Zach was in stable condition until he got to the hospital and caught SARS. Damn that SARS! Zach will be missed, although it should be noted that no one attended his funeral.
5/11/03 - Today we recorded a demo version of our cover of Outkast's "The Whole World". We had Tyler lay down some bass, Phil lay down the beats, and Zach spinning the rhymes. Hopefully we will get a finished recording of that within the next week or two and will be able to post that up here for download.
We also started practicing some of the UNLESS material today. I think we have finished writing 3 songs, and have 3 or 4 more that are mostly done. All of them sound awesome though. We will keep you posted on that.

5/8/03 - Lots of additions have been made to the pictures section. There is now a "Sean" section, a "Devin" section, and a "group shots" section. thanks to Kelly (i think?) for the one group shot we have.
4/28/03 - YAYYYYY!!!! We now have a really cool little menu with pictures up above this here news section. You can get to bth the pictures section from there as well as THE BRAND NEW MP3/DOWNLOAD/LISTEN TO OP DROP SECTION!!! YAYYYYYY!!!! we finally have some songs uploaded THAT WORK!!! THERE ARE NEW SONGS IN THERE TOO, SO CHECK THEM OUT!!!
Just a little "Where Is My Bread?" news for you, the CD is in fact done, the insert is in fact very close to done, and CD's are in fact being produced now, so if you do want to buy one, email us, or just talk to us in person. They only cost 2 bucks. come on folks, 2 bucks is not a lot of money.
And i also have some news for you regarding UNLESS....We have written A LOT of REALLY AMAZING music. this CD is going to be more EPIC then god himself. Hopefully we willbe able to start recording soon. Unfortunately, since UNLESS is real, tabbed out music (rather than jams that are made up on the spot), it will take a lot longer to record then Where Is My Bread took. If all goes well, we should have it done by the end of the summer. We have also been slowly accumulating tracks to use on STEALTH MODE as well, so look for that sometime in the future.
4/21/03 - So far, 45.5% of the people that have taken a poll i made have said that they love Operation Dropkick. 36.4% so far have responded "I don't care, they are morons". 18.2% of the people so far have said that Operation Dropkick sucks.
4/20/03 - I find the thick, contemplative and hideously eloquent jams of Operation Dropkick as a depiction of the reality in which the members of their generation have been entrenched in for years. Their music gushes from a previously untapped oriface of the human soul, set free after decades of radical politics, spoon-fed consumerism and chronic masturbation. In the wake of such choas the members of this evocative ensemble have continuously broken new ground, singing of anuses with facial hair and jamming both with and without peanut butta. They have brought the standards of sonic tapestry and as a result I hate them for it.

Bassist, Composer.
4/15/03 - ARRGGGGGGG!!! lots of things on this site wont work because TRIPOD SUCKS MY FUCKIN NUTSACK. hopefully we will get all those songs back up here and have them actually work eventually....
3/18/03 - Thanks to Mr. Chris (British) for the buddy icon, by the way.
3/16/03 - PICTURES!!! I just finished putting together the brand new PICTURES SECTION! It is filled with pics from the "Where Is My Bread" jam sessions, as well as a few other random pics. Thanks to our good friend, Bob the Plumber for jamming with us and bringing over his camera. There is also a new BUDDY ICON for any interested. the old one is still right above this here news section with the new one, if you like that one better...
WHERE IS MY BREAD NEWS: work on the insert for the album is almost done, we are doing layout and stuff and collecting artwork still, but it should be ready soon. and yes, the CD is for sale, 2 bucks, just contact any one of the members of OP DROP...
3/6/03 - The Happy Endings show went awesome. we got to play 5 songs. anyways, the show was amazing. we had buttloads of fun playing it, and there were a lot more people there then we thought there would be. there was this other dude, i think his name was dan (he has played all the other coffee houses), played right after us. he told me that he loved how we had a different member of the band drumming for almost every song. he is wayyyyy more talented then us and we give him mental bum sex for sitting through our performance.
NOW THEN, for everyone that asked about CDs, or anyone who was too ashamed of the fact that they enjoyed our music and didnt ask, we do in fact have a CD. our very first CD is called "Where Is My Bread?", and all the songs we played at Happy Endings are on it, along with 13 others. The entire CD was improvised in our top secret studio in Hyrule. We are selling them for ONLY 2 BUCKS!!!!!! 2 DOLLARS!!!! a happy meal costs more than that. We havent finished putting together all the artwork and pictures for the insert, but if you can't wait then we can still give you the CD, or you can wait if you want, it doesnt really matter. but yea, email us if you want to buy one, or IM me on AIM: NinjaKillsRobot, ORRR you could just ask one of the band members in person.
2/28/03 - SORRYYYY!!! ok the coffee house is going to be AT HAPPY ENDINGS, NOT nottingham highschool. just found that out today. all the rest of the info is the same though...
2/27/03 - Haiku Critiquing...

to violate my anus,
and now, i can't poop.
- Aaron Bobis
Also, just an update on the coffe house situation: The Meadowbrook Coffee House will be on THURSDAY, MARCH 6th, @ NOTTINGHAM HIGHSCHOOL @ 7:00 P.M. (i think...not 100% sure on the time, but it will be close to that anyways). There will be lots of other people that are way more talented than us too, so you should come check it out. It doesn't cost very much to get in. I'm sure a hobo could afford it if he saved for a week or eight.
2/23/03 - On Saturday OpDrop had the pleasure of collaborating and recording with thier two good friends, Mr. D-Muni, and Bob the Plumber. 5 New tracks were recorded for "Where Is My Bread?". One of the new tracks, "The Cash Money Jam", features D-Muni on drums, and he can also be heard on "The Lemon Jam (With Shugah)", where he has a small vocal cameo. Hopefully we will be able to record a jam with Bob the Plumber as well.
In other news, the world famous villian known as Aaron Bobis has been listening to OpDrop. He says he finds our screaming "soothing". We think he might be our only fan. Maybe we will give him a tee-shirt or something...
OpDrop has been asked recently to make a return to the Meadowbrook Coffee House. I guess we put on such a spectacular performance that the massive crowds of people begged for us to come back...(HA!)
OH YEA! I almost forgot...While recording on saturday we took billions of pictures and filmed a lot of random footage of us playing and fooling around and stuff, so hopefully we will have some fun stuff for you guys to look at soon.
(DOES ANYONE EVEN READ ANY OF THIS CRAP I POST UP HERE!?!?!? I FEEL SO ALONE! PLEASE GOD, SEND ME A FRIEND!)
2/20/03 - OPERATION DROPKICK is now on mp3.com! yay! so you can now download some of our songs here.
2/9/03 - Well we have spent 2 whole days recording for our first album, "Where Is My Bread?", which is going to be a giant album filled with jams. Jams are songs we pretty much improvise on the spot just fooling around in the garage or something. most of them don't have any lyrics besides the occasional grunt. They are terrible, awful, miserably uncoordinated songs that exemplify little or no skill, but they are catchier than...um...well i can't think of a god thing to say right there but they are pretty damn catchy. Since Jams require very little studio time we should have this album out within the next few weeks, so ask us about it in person or via email. TO CHECK OUT SOME OF THE SONGS THAT WILL BE ON "WHERE IS MY BREAD?", SEARCH FOR OPERATION DROPKICK ON KAZAA!!!
In other news, we are also in the process of making a really nice recording of "Bum With A Stache". We plan on submitting that to a compilation CD that will be filled with lots of other musical talents much greater than our own.
Our very first practice took place in the garage of Doctor Disaster. It was a pretty good practice, especially since there was a guest appearance by the police. They pulled up to Zach's house and old us that like everyone within a one mile radius was comlaining about us being loud and un-skilled. Everyone in the band promptly jizzed themselves. Later that day in the fonrt yeard we had a free-for-all wrestling match and Natasha grabbed everyone's wangs and twisted them until the the cows came home. I think i had microns of blood in my pee that night...
We have had several practices since then and we are all getting pretty good at sucking.
MEMBERS OF THE BAND: Mike Stevens a.k.a. "The Mad Milliner", Sean Holbert a.k.a. "Member # 37", Phil McAndrew a.k.a. "Mister Sinister", Tyler McAndrew a.k.a. "Frank The Space Pirate", Natasha Jones, Devin Macneil a.k.a. "Mister Vile"
Don't ask what they all do, because quite frankly, no one is sure.
